Strings Manager in XFtoWP

The problem

Plugin text in the wrong language

A German or Spanish community shouldn’t see English buttons under every post. Editing translation files usually means FTP and a code editor.

Without Strings Manager

  • English labels on a non-English site
  • Editing .po files by hand
  • Mixed languages on one page
  • Changes lost when the plugin updates

With Strings Manager

  • Translate text from XFtoWP settings
  • Strings grouped by where they appear
  • Original text shown under each field
  • Translations kept through plugin updates

Can I translate XFtoWP into my language?

Do my translations survive plugin updates?

Yes. Your text is saved in XFtoWP settings, not in plugin files.

Does it work with my translation plugin?

Yes. XFtoWP includes xfwp.pot and uses the xfwp text domain.

How do I go back to the original text?
